    As the Tokyo Olympics kick off today, Michigan athletes have set their sight on gold.
    News 8 sports director Jack Doles is in Tokyo to bring you live coverage as those Michigan athletes aim for the podium. In a half-hour special airing at 7 p.m. today in WOOD TV8 and streaming live on woodtv.com , Jack shares their stories.
    "Olympic Hopes, Gold Dreams," will be followed by a replay of the Opening Ceremony and start of the Games.
