Earlier this year, rumors of an incredibly extended cut of James Cameron's Avatar 3 began floating around. Now a new report suggests that the extended cut of the film could be released as a miniseries.
During the latest episode of The Hot Mic podcast, Jeff Sneider discussed the possibility of Avatar 3 having a whopping nine-hour extended cut. According to Rocha, Cameron has contemplated finishing the visual effects for the entirety of the third film's content and then releasing it on Disney+ as a limited series following the release of the theatrical cut of the film.
