    The Food and Drug Administration's vaccine advisory panel today endorsed the use of Moderna's COVID-19 booster shot for the elderly and others at high risk because of possible exposure at their jobs or they have underlying health factors. The vote was 19-0 but the recommendation is not final and will go before the FDA to issue an official decision.     U.S. health advisers said Thursday that some Americans who received Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine should get a half-dose booster to bolster protection against the virus.

    An FDA advisory panel endorsed Moderna's Covid-19 booster shot for seniors and other high-risk groups on Thursday.
