At Wednesday's daily press briefing, President Donald Trump offered up a radically different message from a few weeks ago when he dismissed the coronavirus outbreak and predicted it would quickly “disappear,” and instead is now claiming that the possibility of tens of thousands of Americans dying would be proof that his administration did a “good job.”

At the coronavirus task force briefing, CNN's Jim Acosta asked about commentators suggesting that the coronavirus death toll is being inflated:
“As you are both probably aware, there's a lot of misinformation and conspiracy theories out there about the coronavirus. There are some commentators are suggesting that the number of dead are being inflated because they are saying that people who are dying with other issues are being listed as Covid-19 deaths... New York Post reporter Steven Nelson was absolutely roasted online for using his time during the daily White House coronavirus press briefing to ask President Donald Trump about possibly pardoning Joe Exotic from the Tiger King documentary that has become a pop culture hit.
With nearly 450,000 Americans having contracted the COVID-19 and more than 13,000 deaths so far, the notion that a supposedly professional journalist would instead shift the focus of the questions to the president to a snarky, stunt set off a torrent of criticism.

1 month ago - By Wood TV

WASHINGTON - The food supply chain has so far been holding up under the pressure of the coronavirus crisis.

However, experts say they are not sure how long the system can survive the pressure the pandemic is putting on every level.
“The entire supply chain was emptied out from the stores back to the distribution centers back to the manufacturers,” said Cheryl Druehl, an associate professor at George Mason University.
Druehl says manufacturers have quickly adjusted to the pandemic, shifting production to focus...
