Neil Cavuto Calmly Refutes Bret Baier By Pointing Out Trump Needed Just One Key Figure to Throw the Country into Chaos After 2020 Election
11 days ago - By Mediaite
During a recess of Thursday's Jan. 6 committee hearing, Fox News anchor Bret Baier stated the country wasn't as close to losing its democracy as members would have us believe. Fellow anchor Neil Cavuto responded by saying all it would have taken was for one person to cave.
The committee heard testimony from former White House lawyers and officials in the Department of Justice, where an obscure environmental lawyer named Jeffrey Clark told then-lame duck President Donald Trump in 2020 he had a plan to overturn the election that Trump had lost. Then-Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen refused to...

The Jan. 6 House Select Committee aired testimony from Trump administration officials alleging members of Congress asked former President Donald Trump for pre-emptive pardons in the wake of the riot at the U.S. Capitol.
The committee obtained emails from Rep. Mo Brooks , sent five days after the Capitol riot, in which he pushed for pardons for Rep. Matt Gaetz as well as members of Congress who objected to the certification of Joe Biden's victory.
The committee then aired testimony from three former White House staffers - lawyer Eric Herschmann , aide Cassidy Hutchinson , and Trump adviser...

The notes, which were previously documented in a report by the Senate Judiciary Committee, included one quoting Trump telling officials “just say that the election was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the Republican congressmen.”
Former Attorney General Eric Holder , who served in the Obama administration, weighed in on Twitter regarding Donoghue's...

The January 6 Committee will hold its fifth day of hearings on former President Donald Trump's effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election and the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol. The hearing is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. ET.
The committee's latest hearing is expected to focus on Trump's attempts to pressure the Justice Department into helping him overturn his loss to President Joe Biden. The panel will present evidence that Trump tried to get the department to file lawsuits against election fraud on the Trump campaign's behalf, even though former Attorney General Bill...

CNN anchor Chris Wallace got some pushback from CNN correspondent Evan Perez and legal analyst Laura Coates when he asked “why on Earth is it only now” that the Justice Department is taking certain actions over Jan. 6.
On Thursday afternoon's edition of CNN Newsroom , Perez broke the news that DoJ investigators raided home of Jeffrey Clark, the Department of Justice official former President Donald Trump wanted to install as acting Attorney General to help him overturn the 2020 presidential election - and who received a now-infamous kiss-off during a White House meeting.
During the ensuing...
